  • Where are games played?
    Home Games are played on the UTSA recreational field behind the baseball field. Home Games/Parking are free to attend as long as you do NOT park in a Residential spot. Please see our Schedule for additional information.
  • Why the different logo in the Team Store and the website?
    For copyright reasons, we utilize the Men's Lacrosse teams secondary logo for merchandise and outreach.
  • Which teams do you play?
    We are a D2 team in the Lone Star Alliance (LSA). This means we play D2 teams across Texas and we schedule Out Of Conference games to play teams outside of Texas.
  • When is the season?
    The season is played in the Spring Semester but we practice in both the Fall and the Spring. Please see our Schedule for additional information.
  • What are Dues?
    Dues vary year by year but are normally $800-1000 a year. These will cover helmet, uniform, pinnie, travel costs, and league/referee fees.
  • What are the requirements to play?
    You have to abide by the league's requirements located here. This means that you have to meet the school's requirements for enrollment located here. As well as the school's Club Eligibility requirements located here. (Note: Requirements differ for you if you are in your graduating semester) *These are mandatory requirements
  • When do you practice?
    We practice twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8-10 pm. Practice is mandatory.
  • Are there tryouts?
    No, we don't hold tryouts. Anyone who pays dues, abides by the school/teams requirements, and commits to the team is eligible to play on the team. We have student athletes that have never played the sport and learn it within a semester and we also have student athletes that have played for 12+ years.
  • Does the UTSA lacrosse team travel?
    We do Travel. Your dues cover your travel and hotel costs. We try to make an out of state trip every year. Our normal destinations are Alabama, Colorado and New Mexico to try to play 3 games.
